Position Overview:
The Senior Manager of Content Marketing at TruGreen is a strategic and hands-on role that plays a critical part in shaping and executing our content strategy. This individual will be responsible for developing content that resonates with our target audience while overseeing the overall content marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will bring new and fresh thinking to help drive expansion and optimization of our digital presence across channels.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with TruGreen's marketing and business goals, focusing on building brand awareness, engagement and leads.
Write and produce various types of high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, infographics, videos, and more.
Utilize audience insights to create tailored content that speaks to different customer segments, ensuring content relevancy and effectiveness.
Ensure that all content is optimized for search engines (SEO) to enhance organic visibility and improve search rankings.
Develop and maintain an editorial calendar, managing content production timelines and ensuring consistent output.
Monitor content performance using analytics tools, and make data-driven decisions to refine content strategies and improve engagement.
Collaborate with the social media team to align content with social media strategies, ensuring consistent messaging and brand voice.
Maintain brand consistency and messaging throughout all content, adhering to the company's core values and voice.
Work with cross-functional teams to create holistic content campaigns that drive results.
Collaborate with agency partners, ensuring clear communication, shared goals, and effective campaign execution while maintaining alignment with the company's brand and objectives.
Work with functional leads to determine content gaps and recommend topic ideas based on key business and user insights and support the content lifecycle management
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices specific to content marketing
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field.
Proven experience (7+ years) in content marketing with a strong background in content strategy and creation.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of published work.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Highly creative with a discerning eye for detail and excellent storytelling skills leveraging multimedia formats.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding lead acquisition goals.
Articulate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels, with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Ability to identify operational gaps/opportunities and implement solutions.
Highly analytical and technical thinker, with proven experience in analyzing complex data to identify trends, insights and opportunities to grow the business.
Strong technical acumen and core understanding of marketing functions/systems.
Proven ability to conceptualize solutions and creatively problem-solve.

Pay Ranges
$114,013.00 - $190,020.00This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
