Job Description
Responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans at a national level. Generates and secures new business-to-business (B2B) sales revenue by prospecting and adding new commercial customers. Generates revenue and/or profit margin in their accounts and territories. Focuses on national multi-state accounts and prospects. Pro-actively sells programs/services to new customers, through consistent market segment approach. This role typically targets accounts, consisting of national and large enterprise-based accounts
Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for generating new business to business (B2B) sales revenue by prospecting and adding new national and regional commercial customers
Conducts lead follow-up, retention calls and service calls through telemarketing, digital and person-to-person contact
Works collaboratively with Regional and Local Commercial Sales representatives, Regional Commercial Sales Managers and/or General Managers to define and share best practices offering the best solutions to commercial customers
Works with local Business Development Representatives, General Managers, Service Managers and Commercial Account Specialists to execute work, drive customer satisfaction and resolve customer issues in a timely manner
Penetrates new accounts and achieves sales plan in all key areas: new account generation
Develops and implements annual sales plans that encompass, upsells, and new sales to exceed goals

Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university or related work experience preferred
10+ years sales experience in business to business (B2B) sales and experience selling government and national accounts preferred
3 years of experience proposing and selling to C-Suite executives
Extensive experience with Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quote (RPQ) processes
Landscaping, lawncare, tree and shrub or pest management experience a PLUS
Valid Driver’s License required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of the organization’s products and/or services
Ability to influence executive leadership
Ability to travel more than 50% of the year
Ability to develop and execute prospecting strategies to aggressively grow new business
Advanced computer knowledge, efficiencies and understanding to include Excel, Word, Power Point, CRM platform, Outlook/Office 365. Proficiency with Salesforce.com strongly preferred.
Mathematical skill to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, percentages, area and volume.
Demonstrated consultative selling abilities
Ability to collaborate and influence internal and external shareholders
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
Ability to execute prospecting strategies for discovering and closing new accounts
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with internal associates and external customers
Multi-facility teamwork, communication and collaboration

Pay Ranges
$79,175.00 - $131,958.00This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
